Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000
Do all Air Receivers need to be inspected?
PSSR states that a written scheme and inspection certificate will need to be issued to comply with the legislation when the operating pressure multiplied by the volume of the pressure vessel is greater than 250 bar litres.
i.e MWP (Maximum working pressure) X vessel capacity (volume)
e.g MWP 10 bar, vessel volume 50 litres
10 bar X 50 litres = 500 bar litres
